Official notifications regarding fines or court matters are provided only through authorized channels such as official letters, secure portals, or direct communication from the court. If you receive a text message claiming to be about court fines or requesting payment, do not respond or click any links. This may be a scam. Report suspicious messages to the court or your IT/security office. Your security and trust are important to us.

The following are a list of resources that may be able to assist you:

  • New Mexico Legal Aid – services range from education, advice, to full representation in some cases. Also host a variety of legal fairs and clinics statewide.
  • New Mexico Courts Helpline (855) 268-7804 Hours of operation: Monday – Friday 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
  • Modest Means Helpline – a free legal helpline for New Mexico residents with an income at or below 500% of the Federal poverty guidelines, which give advice on topics including, but not limited to, domestic relations, landlord-tenant and kinship guardianship.
